When do Social Security Disability Benefits Start
Jan 21st, 2010 by admin
If you have been found disabled by the Social Security Administration, your benefits will start in the 6th full month of your disability. However, if you made your application for disability benefits more than 12 months after your disability began, the Administration will only pay up to 12 months in back benefits (again the 5 month waiting period must be met prior to the start of payments). If you have any questions regarding a Social Security Disability and/or Supplemental Security Income claim, please do not hesitate to contact us at www.ocalaw.com or at 352-629-0480.
